Lily Ponds first gun season is black powder. There are no restrictions on rifles types so scopes and In-Lines are legal to use. Black Powder starts around the second week in October and lasts for 6 days. Lily Pond guides will situate hunters close to feed sites and travel routes, usually within 100 yards, and nearly all stand sites will be baited. The weather is usually warm, but mornings can be cool so bring gear for cool as well as warm temps.
