Lily Pond is located in Northampton County which is one of
the top counties in the state for whitetail. Northampton usually
tops the charts on deer per square mile as well as the most
bucks per square mile. All hunting at Lily Pond is done in
above ground stands usually twelve to fifteen feet. Stands
range from platform to tripods and we also have box stands
for bad weather. All of our stands are safe and comfortable.
We hunt a variety of terrain ranging form clear cuts, open
fields, oak ridges, food plots and even some swamp bottoms.
Northampton county is also famous for growing peanuts, and
boy do the deer love them. Many of our hunters say that the
meat here taste much better than any deer meat they have ever
had. We blame it on the peanuts. Hunting consists of a morning
and an evening hunt. We head out before light and we usually
come back in about 10:00 a.m. The evening hunts departures
depend on sunset times. All and all a deer hunt at Lily Pond
is a fun experience for the adult as well as the young adult
hunters and our Spring Turkey hunts are legendary.
